Top 50 Hip Hop Songs of 2008
# 1 Wale The Kramer
2008 was a year where the United States reflected on the resinating effects of it’s initial sin of slavery and the internal conflict with racial equality that presently exist. A song in reaction to Michael Richard’s careless 2006 rant where he used the N-Word during a stand-up show plus the scaring personal effects the word had on the artist growing up in North Carolina. This list was compiled by Jeff Weiss, a long time contributing writer/journalist to publications like the LA Times, LA Weekly, and the Village Voice.
