I just finished this books a few weeks ago. From the title you can already assume the premise of the book: success. But I figured this was largely going to be a “how to” book, but that wasn’t the case. Instead I came to find Malcolm Gladwell’s discussions focused on why people become successful and what surrounding factors contributed to their success or their lack there of. Interesting topics that came up were things like IQ thresholds, the “10,000 hour rule” where true mastery can only be achieved once that amount of practice is performed, and even how much influence dumb blind luck can have on your level of success.  By the end of it I felt empowered having some understanding for the rational framework of success. This books has been on the NYT’s best sellers list for forever and a day now so you really don’t have to take my word on it but it’s another book I highly recommend.
